About the Tour

The main objective of this walking tour is to show you the places through their history or artistic value. Estremoz is a must visit city for all the people that like to travel.

The itinerary of this walking tour through the “White City” includes a stop at the Main Square, called Rossio Marquês de Pombal – the main hall of the city, a place, close to all the points of interest and a great starting point. Then we will continue to the Lake of the Gadanha, after that to Torres da Couraça – castle walls that are attached to the Convento de Nossa Senhora da Consolação. From there we will go to the Castle and its monuments. On the way back, we will pass by the Pillory.
