The Ducal Palace is closed on Mondays, on Tuesdays mornings and on the following holidays: January 1st, Easter Sunday, May 1st, December 8th, December 25th.

About the Tour
A marble jewel set in the heart of the Alentejo, Vila Viçosa is a treasure trove of heritage, where stone whispers secrets and history unfolds around every corner. On this tour, we open the doors to the majestic Ducal Palace — with ticket included — to dive into the living memory of the town, the starting point for an enchanting journey.
This journey takes us to the Manueline Pelourinho, the ancient medieval Castle, and the Renaissance Fortress House. We pay homage to the patron saint at the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Conceição and cross the Praça da República, where various statues celebrate the names that shaped this land. The visit wouldn’t be complete without entering the old Jesuit House before returning to the Terreiro do Paço, a reminder that Vila Viçosa is made of history and beauty sculpted in marble.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you cancel at least 24 hours before your tour, you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour, there will be no refund.
Changes, requested less than 24 hours before the tour, are not accepted.
Cancellation deadlines are considered in Portuguese legal time.
